Good morning friends,
This winter has been one of the best that I can remember. It may sound weird given the current state of the world, but the weather has been my favorite kind of winter weather - hovering around freezing with lots of quiet snowfalls that let big, fat flakes decorate the trees and houses. Honestly, not battling sub-zero conditions for days on end has completely changed my perspective on winter. I hope you're enjoying it too.
The playlist this week starts with a beautiful tribute song:
Lose You Now by Lindsey Stirling and Mako is a reminder that the ones we've lost are still surrounding us, guiding us in our daily lives whether we can physically see them or not.
SET ME OFF by Kaleena Zanders has the lyrical soul of a country song with the punch of a rock song. Zanders' voice is bold and unapologetic and dances with the guitar, which has a melody of its own to sing.
Pales Waves takes us back to early 2000's with, dare I say, a very Avril Lavigne vibe. Easy feels nostalgic while being brand new at the same time. It's about how being in love with the right person is 'easy' and how they make your world a more beautiful place.
