This week brings us the cheerful indie/pop sound of Jade Bird and her song Headstart. It's about falling for someone who is ignoring all the signs.
Billie Eilish has the extraordinary talent of a gorgeous voice and yet she can captivate an audience barely using it at all. Therefore I Am is another dark song with an infectious beat by Eilish, quiet rapping mixed with softly sung harmonies.
Absolute harmonic bliss are Faouzia and John Legend's voices together in their song Minefields. They explore the dangerous territory of continuing to go back to an old flame who is not good for you.
The playlist wraps up with the dreamy electronic pop song Fearless by Santa Barbara based band Laszewo. The lyrics explore what it would feel to 'fear less' and trust the path that you're on. It feels good to imagine that kind of world.
