11/23/20 - New Music Monday
Updated: Nov 29, 2020

Happy Monday world,
Travel is on many people's minds this week with Thanksgiving fast-approaching. While we have all been encouraged to stay at home and not go to large gatherings, I trust that people are exercising caution given the crap 2020 has thrown at us and are finding new ways to spend time with their families and loved ones.
This week also held sorrow for people who are close to me. I hope that you will join me in sending them your love, empathy and compassion. This playlist is dedicated to David and the humor, character and bravery he brought to the world, you will be greatly missed.
Shame Shame by Foo Fighters has quiet urgency with a cool guitar riff that made me think about how long it's been since it was music and not vocals that were the catchiest part of a song.
Elvis Presley's classic song Can't Help Falling In Love is reimagined in this chill pop meets R&B song fools (can't help falling in love) by Foster featuring Sody and Sarcastic Sounds. My favorite line is "wise men say only fools rush in, but pretty girls make fools out of wise men". Give it a listen, I promise you'll like it.
Another rendition of a classic is Josh Groban's return with his new album Harmony and the song we feature this week The World We Knew (Over and Over), originally sung by Frank Sinatra. It's sinister and theatrical and Groban's voice is incredible and flawless as ever. It also sounds like it has a place in a James Bond movie - 007 team are you listening?
