12/14/20 - New Music Monday
Updated: Dec 20, 2020

Happy Monday friends,
We have somehow made it almost halfway through December and it happened incredibly fast. If anyone else feels like Christmas could be tomorrow, you're not alone. I hope this week's playlist helps you find motivation to buy gifts , feel merry and also the self-respect to let the dishes pile up if you feel the need to sit down and relax instead of washing them.
SHAED released a new EP and from it we feature Once Upon A Time. Lead singer Chelsea Lee's voice fills you up from the inside and makes you stop and pay close attention to what she has to say next. I highly recommend listening to Once Upon A Time with headphones for the full effect. It's exhilarating.
Taylor Swift surprised us with another album in 2020. While I haven't had the chance to wallow in my feelings for "evermore" like I did with "folklore", I still picked two songs off of it that jumped out at me right away. Champagne Problems feels like every relationship we let go on for too long because it's comfortable and easy and it's only when that person asks you to commit to them that you realize you've lingered in it too long. For No Body, No Crime Swift revisits her country roots with a dark tale of suspicions, cheating and murder all wrapped up in one great revenge song.
Dress by Charlotte Sands is about being obsessed with a bad boy - the one you were warned about, who your parents don't like but you can't stop thinking about. Full of teenage angst and loud guitar riffs it's catchy and full of spirit.
